Re: Spray wax on windshield ??
I've used Ultimate Quik Wax on my windows and windshield without any issues. Just make sure to buff it off pretty well.
And yes - the glass beaded very well and made the water run off very quickly.2011 Car Crazy Showcase SEMA Team

I use D156 (bulk version of ultimate quik wax) on my glass. Have had no issues and it beads well. As stated just be sure to remove it all. Rainx is the other alternative.

Re: Spray wax on windshield ??
I wax all of my windows when I wax the cars using Ultimate Past Wax. Rarely have to use my wipers as the water beads and blows off. I tried RainX once and found it to be garbage and threw nearly a full bottle out.

I'm with Strife. UQW on the sides and rear. But RainX on the windshield. I found RainX stays totally clear if you apply it, let it dry to a haze, mist the windshield with water and then rub it down with a wad of paper towel. I don't use any of my MF towels with RainX!_____________________________

In my experience, applying "wax" on the windshield has lead to some pretty bad smearing.
