  • Add spray wax to suds

Can I add a little bit of spray wax to the suds before I wash my car or is this not a wise move ?

    Thank you

    *Just a thought*

I don't see any real advantage to doing it, won't hurt it any. But really ur just better off spraying it on ur wet car as u dry it off. Prob gonna b more effective that way.

I wouldn't because soap & spray wax have different purposes. After you're done washing & drying your car would you add soap to spray wax?

Just use a spray wax while drying... much easier...

I dry the car first before applying UQW. I do not want the water to dilute UQW.

I do mine on the second pass... so a little water still. But really doesn't seem to hurt the UQW, esp if using regularly.

As long as you flood the surface to remove a majority of the water then this is not an issue. You could always follow up again after you dried the car. Or another option if you wish to preserve your quick wax is to use a QD as a drying aid and then follow with UQW.

My thoughts exactly. Probably the same polymers from UQW.
