    Re: Order of detailing products and the foam pad to use with them

    I have a question that I haven't been able to find the answer to.

    The HF DA polisher speed settings, does anybody know what rpm's the numbers on the dial correspond to so I'll know I'm using the correct speed when using the microfiber system? I've been Googling all over the internet and haven't been able to find anything on the rpm settings.

    On a side note, I picked up some Gold Class car wash and UQD from Walmart the other day. The "big day" is not for a couple weeks (haven't purchased all the stuff yet), a friend and I are going to do our vehicles together when he moves into his new house in town. But I wanted to go ahead and wash my truck and then put a layer of UQD on it in the meantime. We had a big rain yesterday and the water just beaded off the truck. Didn't leave any water spots. Wonderful stuff.

      Suggested article to read. This foucses on the Meguiar's DA but the speed settings are the same for the HF DA.

          I called Harbor Freight Customer Service a couple of days ago to get this information for someone else who is interested in buying one of these units. Here are the relative speeds in OPM that the Customer Service rep gave me:

          1 = 2000
          2 = 2800
          3 = 3700
          4 = 4600
          5 = 5500
          6 = 6400
