  • break dust on paint

How do you remove the brake dust on the paint on the sides and backs of the vehicles. White is the worst as it shows up as tiny black dots and as you start to remove them they change to brown, orange then yellow and then gone. I had one the other day where a rear caliper had stuck, rim was brown and the rear quarter and back of the vehicle was yellow? I used Meguiars compond, 101 and some 9 to remove but was quite a bit of work and diffuclut around windows and trim?

Clay is the first thing that comes to mind. But for those emebedded contaminants products such as Ironx, Trix, Autofinesse Iron Out, Dodo Juice Ferrous Dueller are used for this exact purpose. They remove imbedded iron from the paint.

Yeah, ironx is a good choice.

          Great for painted wheels too.
