with the Nanoskin autoscrub speedy prep sponge do you have to rinse it as you do the car?Or only if you drop it? I ask this because as whith the clay it pick up contaminants and you would need to keen it.So will the sponge hold contaminants?

Clean it as you go whether it's with a towel or water. Also read the instructions. It is recommended to use it on the glass first to remove the coating on the material before using it on the paint.

I bought one of these on line and and regretted the price I paid, the next day. Well it arrived and I used it and am impressed. Much easier than clay, especially on vertical panels , and seems to do as good or better job than clay. If you drop it, you can wash it. Can't do that with clay.
