I've got both the W67DA backing plate as well as the smaller one. Since the microfiber pads are much more flimsy than the foam pads, what size pads should be used with each back plate? I've always only used the foam pads but would like the try to the microfiber ones and need to know what to buy.

Question, the description for W67DA reads "for 6.5" & 7" Mirror Glaze Pads"

Yes it can. 5.5" foam pads can also be used with it.Comment
