  • Defective Pump Sprayers

Any one else having problems with the pump sprayers on their Meguiars Ultimate Detailer bottles? I've had two new ones quit after just a couple of squirts.

Not lately, but I have in the past.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

I have had some problems also. This is my only complaint with Meg's products. I would say that about 1/2 the time I have to dump the product in other bottles as soon as I open them.

I had a problem with the ultimate quick wax. I took off the trigger and blew compressed air into it....but I still don't think its a 100% fixed.

The only complaint I've ever had about any Meguiar's product is their pump sprayers. They fail way too often. Very frustrating.

My suggestion would b to buy some if the detailer generic bottles for sprays and waxes and convert them over. That's what I plan on doing as they look alot easier to work with. A round no mess bottle is easier to work with than say a uc bottle and the sprayers are easier to handle than the consumer line bottles as well.

              Re: Defective Pump Sprayers

We do apologize for any sprayer issues you guys may have had in the past or are still experiencing. We have changed the sprayers on several products but, as always, there is always going to be some older stock on certain store shelves. Some stores are better at rotating stock than others, as you can imagine, so every now and then an older product gets sold and an "old issue" crops up.

As always, we stand behind everything we make, 100%. If you ever have an issue of any kind with any of our products, just call the number on the back of the bottle and our Customer Care Center will take care of you.
