  • Dooor jambs

What are you guys doing about cleaning door jambs?

Do you spray cleaner let it soak and then spray them down? Do you wipe them down or used compressed air? And do you do them before doing an interior detail?

Ive always done it by hand, but it can take a while to get get in all the little crevices and i need a quick stream lined effective way to do it when working on a customers car.

I spray APC over the door jambs and let it soak for a few minutes and wipe clean. I usually do it as part of an exterior wash.

U can buy a tornador or steam machine to make quick work of it.

I use waterless wash, heavy and running and microfiber. Follow that up with X-press Spray Wax. I do the door jams and the door edges this way. If it's really heavy dirt in the jam I'll softly flow water outward over the dirt to run the heavy stuff away first.

Most of the time all I do is wipe them down with a rag after washing the exterior. But if bad I'll spray them.

"wash and wax anywhere"; only worth it if its on clearance or a rinseless wash using a chenille wash mitt to clean.
