Bring My Black Golf 2010 Back To Life - Help

Hello all,
Joined forum to learn more about meguiars products for my car.
I currently have a 2010 VW Golf GTD Black.
Its always raining here in Ireland and road conditions are pretty poor and water in my area is very hard always seem to have water spots after a wash, had my car professionally detailed last year and have only done 5,000 miles since it and the car is covered with swirls and tar again already...
Theres to many products to choose from don't know weather to get Gold Class, Nxt, Ultimate...
Wanna get a nice little kit to start me of. I have bought clay bar kit and bug and tar remover spray just waiting for post to come
Any help would be great appreciated.

First of all, welcome to MOL!

Meg's have a great line of products without a doubt.
Having said that, there is no product out there that will prevent swirls and scratches if you are not using the right technique in your washes.
Automatic car washes? That's the devil's talk!

Whether you get GC, NXT or Ult, they will all work great but even before you get to choosing the products, do some research on this forums and learn the proper methods of maintaining your finish.
Once you understand what it takes and you are committed to it, then go out and research products that will fit with your life style. Ask questions on this forums on things you are confused or do not understand as there are bunch of great and knowledgeable gents/ladies on this forum.
