  • Fresh Point on Wheels

I repainted my wheels last week and I asked the guy when I could wash and wax the wheels. He replied I could do it right away.

I am thinking. Painting wheels are similar to the other car surfaces (paint than clear coat), the concept of "degassing" should still apply here.

What do you think? Should I wait at least 60 days before I wax these wheels?

You're right about fresh paint and the out gassing required for it to fully cure. Just to be on the safe side, we'd recommend waiting the 60 days you mentioned to wax them. Do your best to keep them clean until then, using either regular soap and water or something like our D114 Rinse Free Express Wash.

Regular soap and water? How about car washes like GC or DC wash?

I'm sure they would be fine too...

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
