Hi I have a 2012 Tacoma that I installed door edge guards that have some kind of glue that oozed out on to the paint. What can I use and how can I remove the glue without damaging the paint? Thanks !

Re: goo glue sap
I use a product that's called speedy 500 (got from a GM dealership) this stuff is pretty awesome but not to aggressive for paint and really good at removing the decal and pin strip residue and also use Goo gone but I prefer the gel type goo gone for the fact that it clings to the surface so it saturates the glue residue and helps to have some plastic razor blades to help in the aid of removing easyer.
Also I still have about 20oz. of good ol' D201 body solvent(loved this stuff and used on everything) had a awesome smell and this was a product that you could use for about everything to remove grease, tar, glue residue, oil or just about anything and was safe for your paint which was it's intended purpose.
Michael Stoops could you tell me why they discontinued such a awesome product?''USE THE LEAST AGGRESSIVE PRODUCT TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT''
