Here at Meguiar's we offer both an introductory class and an advanced class, but we don't offer any sort of official certification program. First, such a program would be virtually impossible to police since once a student leaves the training and continues to expand his or her horizons, things can start to change pretty quickly. And the industry as a whole is changing extremely rapidly these days. In the past 5 years the introduction of new compounds/abrasives, new types of pads (especially microfiber) and a whole new breed of tools has dramatically changed the industry as a whole.
Are you a pro detailer or a hard core enthusiast looking to start detailing for a living? Or are you just a car crazy guy looking to learn everything you can as you dive deeper into this hobby?

Remember, this hobby is supposed to be your therapy, not the reason you need therapy.
We are planning to offer many more courses at our Training Center with various dates/times. Based on interest and trainer availability, we would certainly be happy to hold classes on Saturday afternoons, or other times that may be convenient for our customers. Please send me a private message if you would like to be added to our mailing list for announcements on upcoming events.
Please note that Michael is absolutely correct -- it would be virtually impossible to monitor the ongoing education of attendees of any type of official certification program. The industry technology changes so rapidly that just keeping up with the advancements is a serious challenge! Our courses will always include a Certificate of Completion, stating that you attended and completed the course that was taught on a specific date.
Thanks again for your interest and hope to hear from you again soon!
Here is the info for our next class on February 20. Subject is Paint Correction. Chiro will be covering:
