  • Help Me Polish/ Wax Wheels

    I just dread cleaning my wheels. Next Warm day I like to take on the project of polishing and waxing them... Any Suggestions

    I have factory Allow wheels.. Not the fancy ones you can see a picture of yourself in.

    I am sure you already know but for others who might not.... don't use carnauba based wax as it will not withstand the heat.
    At the very least, use a sealant.

    I haven't used but I hear Brake Dust Barrier works well.

      I would use something like TRIX to help clean them with less effort, then do the cleaning and polishing.

      Maybe Brake Dust Barrier instead of wax.

        I would recommend you clean them up real good with a wheel cleaner. You could follow with something like ultimate compound if there are some areas that need a little correcting and follow up with brake dust barrier. Brake dust barrier will make it easier for you to remove dirt and debris with a spray of water. It also lasts longer than a wax/sealant.
