I saw a post here a few days ago about the workers at Meguiars have a maintenance program were they have their car washed and waxed. They are washed every week and wax every 2 weeks with tech wax or another line. My question is are they involved with all the steps, in other words are they Washed, Clayed, hit with the Dual action polisher with compound and then polished and waxed or are they just washed, claybared, waxed, or just washed and then applied wax too? Thank you!

From what I know is every car is different. Clay, compound, and polish are not done very often unles needed. But wash is weekly and waxing u will get various answers as well. But in between washes u have a quick detailer and a quick wax. But some of these other guys can go more into depth but again every car and situation is different to the maintainence

In answering your question regarding the vehicles at Meguiars, we wash them weekly and detail them monthly after a complete detail is performed. From that point Paint correction, polishing and any claying is done on an as needed basis.Detail Werks

Synthetics like ultimate wax and NXT 2.0/M21 will give you more longevity than carnauba's like M26 or gold class. From then on washing and maintenance products like ultimate quik detailer/M135 and ultimate quik wax/D156 will help until the next round of claying and polishing.

For me my routine is a weekly wash with ultimate wash and wax. Followed by ultimate quick spray wax. In between washing during the week I use the ultimate quick detailer . And once a month I wax. I wash with gold class and not ultimate cuz I don't wanna add wax when Im stripping it off During the claying. Usually I have to give it a light clay once a month. So after the gold class wash I then clay and follow with ultimate liquid wax not the spray btw. And wait 12 hours followed by either gold class paste or m26. Obviously if there is any need for paint correction I deal with that with ultimate compound followed by ultimate polish, then the ultimate liquid wax and then the gold class or m26. But that's just my washing routine if ur looking for an idea.

As for me, this is my routine:
1. car wash-weekly or as needed
2. Quick detailer if the car isn't too dirty
3. Spray wax weekly
If I feel like it or if really needed, I wax once a month too... Can't wax the car enough, I just enjoy it..

I hear you guys I really love waxing aswell if she doesn't feel slick, I wax her down. Matter of fact I detailed her 2 days ago from 8pm till 2am in the morning while the wife was on netflix. Nothing beats the feeling of your car when its slick and cold at the same time its like rubbing a ice cube.
