  • Storing my Diluted Products

When I'm doing a detail and run out of my prediluted (D155) Last Touch, (D120)Glass Cleaner or the many more great Detailer Line Products I always hate to stop and go get my distilled water (if I haven't run out) and mix up and batch. So I found out about these little wonders (as I call them) and mix up a batch or two too have on hand and ready to go, that way I don't have to mix up a whole batch just flip the handle up and get only what I need and keep on polishing without getting out of my zone!

My little wonders, just don't fill them over the screw lid on the top, there not the best tight seal and will leak but are cheap and wally world always has them. A matter of fact I need more.

sorry guys can't get pics to load, will try in a minute.

Side pic, also got a little creative and pulled the sticker off the gal. jug and stuck on container!

How I keep them on my shelf, and remember don't fill over the top of the screw lid.

Sorry I couldn't fiqure out why I couldn't get them down loaded, but maybe has something to do with having my laptop on at the same time

Definitely a good idea!!! I love seeing pictures of people's setups. It gives me some ideas on how to add to mine. Unfortunately I'm new to the whole game and just starting to get my equipment still established. But everyone keep em coming

Nice set up, but I prefer to go with the Megs detailer line bottles...pretty much have 2-3 of each one filled and diluted ready to go.

Love this bottle as it has dilution ratios on the side

            Hey STRIFE

Yeah I do use the Meguiars Dispensing bottles, but I use the containers with a batch or 2 of prediluted product on hand ready to go for the Meguiars Dispennsing bottles.

But thinking about switching over to all of the pump pressurized spray bottles instead. Seen that AG has some with their logo on them but would rather have Meguiars logo! Hint-Hint-Wink-Wink

Have you or any other member got any of these self cleaning bottles, and if so what do you guys think about them?

I don't have any but I can see where they would be good for compound, polishes and waxes and stuff like that, but for liquids like APC not sure how well they would work. I kinda like them though... Great more things to buy!!

Hey bomm, sorry should have been clearer about the self cleaning bottles. That's what there for, IE:cleaners/compounds polishes and wax/sealants.

Hey buddy I've got an unreal list to of things to buy, and replace some of my old stuff and to update, But this is going to be a great year with lots of fun!!!!!!!

The self cleaning bottles are great, so much better then having to worry about the red cap on the standard top. Also instead of buying the whole bottle, you can find the tops only online and replace on your existing ones.

                    Re: Storing my Diluted Products

I picked up three of those self cleaning battles a few months ago from AG. They are great. I had purchased a 32 oz bottle of M105 and M205 at autozone and I transferred over some of each product into each bottle. Much better when dispensing a compound or polish and the self cleaning tip works great.

where on AG did you find them? I've been snooping around and can't seem to find them. I know I've seen them before but of course when you are actually looking for them, it's needle in a haystack!
