  • What do you guy's have in your arsenal of goodies for rim's, headlight's or ?

Here's my little stash of goodies for headlight's, rim's, diamondplate or whatever I can think of. I'm always trying different techniques and idea's out for anything just to be having fun and because you never know what you can do until you try it! So let's see some of your guy's and gail's arsenal of goodie's and maybe we all can learn or teach each other something new or bring back an old trick or two!

I just bought the Meguiars wheel polishing kit a few months back and I tell you, I beleive it has to be the best tool for cleaning/polishing rims I've used to this day. And I've went through my share over the years! And the rim tool in the upper right hand corner of my tool box draw is a rim polishing tool that I bought to help in polishing the smaller tighter area's on my aluminum space saver spare out of my GT was a joke! it help me get into them tight area's but it's finished, broke down and I got one time use from it. I forgot who even came out with it, Blackmagic I think but not 100% for sure.

Anyway's let's see your tool's or should I say toy's rather one or a bunch!

Hey jarhead, are you asking me why I didn't get the professional kit?

No I don't have it, because before all these headlight kits started coming out I was wet sanding them and using/trying M85 diamond cut compound 2.0/ M80 speed glaze and the consumer line with different pads and rotary/DA, I always test and experiment around with different techniques and pads, pressure, speed and machines. You never now what you can do until you try!

No I'm just getting back into the detailing scene after really 4 years or so of being out, but at the time I had alot of meguiars products, not all but alot. You've heard the saying found somethng you like and use it often

I don't have a whole lot. I have the Heavy Duty Headlight Restoration Kit I figured I might as well get that one since it will have everything I will need in that one kit. I used it on my father-in-law's truck last fall and it was night and day the result I got. He said he never used his hi beams because the oxidation was so bad that they just didn't do anything. (Sorry Stang, no pics! ) I have the Wheel Polishing Kit as well with the Dyna Cone. That little thing is awesome! I love the Dyna Cone. I've done bumpers, tail pipes, step bars and wheels with it and it makes life SO much easier! I picked up the new Medium Cut and Fine Cut polishes as well and they are awesome products too. That Fine Cut Polish will leave a mirror finish, good stuff!
