Black Wax, something I wanted to try, maybe someone overheard or saw me drooling by the display shelf in one of the well known DIY or home centers. I tried it already, I was a bit surprised with the SMAT in it. I can really feel it in my fingers and as I work it into the paint. However, maybe I need more time with it, it wasn't the deepest richest shine I got vs. other megs wax I used, I did notice an improvement in clarity and works real well as a cleaner wax, and some swirls were reduced. I DEFINITELY NEED MORE TIME WITH IT, but initial results were still very nice. That's what happens when you wax your car out of excitement. You tend to overlook the important steps...

I gave my brother one of these. But I did not get anything myself.

        Hey ffboy

I was thinking about getting the black and the white wax's along with many many more that has come out since I've been gone.

My understanding is that the black wax has more polishing oils that tends to darkin and richens the paint and the white wax has more cleaners to bring out some gloss.

        How did you apply it?

I got the entire lineup minus the polish and the new tire coating. The 2 things I wanted the most I didn't get, but I'm still happy with what I did get. There's still so much more that I want/need, and it's even worse when it's cold outside and u can't use them! Merry Christmas!!!

Thanks. I got it for him after he was using all of my stuff every time he came over LOL. These should keep him busy for awhile.

By hand, but since it has SMAT, and you do feel it when you apply it, I massage it in just a bit more, just take a bit more time and a bit more pressure vs. other non cleaner waxes like NXT 2.0 or ultimate.

Yes, it does darken paint due to the fact that it has more polishing oils vs. white wax. Both are all-in-one products (cleaner/polish/wax), but Black Wax is more polish/cleaner/wax, vs. white wax which is more Cleaner/polish/wax.

But to me and in my experience, you will still get richer, deeper finish with M07 followed by wax. That's how good M07 is even if it's a bit a pain to use. It is a bit unfair for me to compare M07-Wax vs. Black or White wax. Black wax does leave a crisp finish and brings out the flakes especially on dark metallic paint.

I got that little DA you stick on the end of a drill. Looks like a good idea, but seems it will be a bit cumbersome to use on the end of a drill, particularly on a horizontal surface like the roof. Actually, I have been happy with my little 6 inch random orbital polisher for years, and really have no real paint correction to do, so it just might sit on my shelf.

Hey I agree there is no better polish then ol' #7 Show Car Glaze but back years ago when I mobile'd I always kept M05 New Car Glaze (and still of a bottle) with me for the fact that you can apply it in hot and humid conditions and have better control of applying and removing then M07, by the way what's your process of removing M07?

Hey Blueline great gift! going to get me one ASAP along with all the pads. Just make sure you center up the foam pad ever time with the backing plate, I've been watch and reading alot of review's and comment's along with video's and I think once you get to using it you will find yourself reaching for it more often then you think. About the roof though, have you got a plate form ladder,I've got a adjustable unit that raises up another 18'' or so with a add on shelf. can't find a pic of it online but here's about what I've got, lowes did have them, something like this.http://www.homedepot.com/p/Gorilla-L...-13/204210026#

For M07 removal, I remove it progressively, not like a traditional wax. I remove the partially, so there's this thin streaky oily layer, then I remove that mess with one final pass and with more than 1 microfiber towel.

Ah, M07... almost any wax/sealant (non-cleaner of course) will look miles deep when used with M07..

If your process is UC, UP, Wax, does M07 still have a place in this? I've always looked at it but thought that I just don't need it. Maybe I can use it between applications of UP? The Mirror Glaze line is tough for me because to me it all looks the same even though I know each product is different with different characteristics. I did however pick up some M39 to use this spring to get some dried compound off of my textured plastic bed caps, hope it works!
