    50/50 with Cut n Finish
    That's nice!

Even I got nice glossy finish with this. How about the holograms? I got more when compared with M105, and took long time to remove these holograms by using M205.

I haven't got holograms with Cut n Finish. Perhaps you haven't worked the compound enough since its DAT.

Might be. Thanks for pointing out. To my understanding, all 8# series need more time to work - right? This weekend I'll try zenith method and see.

          Zenith Method?

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

See zenith point method in above link.

It works upon a ‘zenith’ principle as demonstrated below. The rpm of the rotary starts off slow at 600 rpm through to 900rpm and up to a zenith of maybe 1200-1500rpm and then after reaching the zenith point I work back down the scale through 900rpm and finish at 600rpm.

The zenith point (1200-1500rpm+) is the point at which maximum defect removal occurs. At these speeds its fair to say that some defects such as holograms may be imparted so by going back down the scale not only have you removed the original defects but you are now removing any defects imparted by reaching the zenith point. An LSP ready finish can be achieved by all but the harshest polishes. An added bonus is that when using a finer grade polish you are simply adding to the gloss rather than having to remove any defects left by the previous polish.

I knew of the principal, I just didn't know that name for it!

Never used a rotary. No current plans to. I call that the "Not in My Playbook Method".

Yup. If you're gonna try the 8X series I recommend you try out #83 with a Polishing pad. Its another go-to combo for me!

Thank You! Means a lot coming from you

I just got my Rupes yesterday and today was the first time I've held and used a DA. Took me 3 panels before I could finish without marring I'm just happy I was able to finish defect free with CnF so soon!
