Re: Ultimate Products (Compound, Polish, Wax) or M20 for Older Black Car

I saw chemicalguys video for the Hex-Logic Hand Applicators but they're showing application and not the paint results. They have 3 - orange (medium cut), white (light cut), and black (no cut). Will probably pick up until I get the DA.

Yeah, I heard a lot of raves for the #7 Glaze so I picked it up hoping for the paint to pop. Would like to have customers get "wow!" moment. It looks good and there is a little difference. Maybe just too cold at 55 degrees for the oils to penetrate?

Good to hear I can use UC/UP. I'm sure as I go I will just have to experiment with various combinations to get that look. Imagine I'd want to anyway so I can know 1st hand about most things.

Murr1525 & jankerson, I really appreciate your feedback! In the dark here as a noob and it's good to know I'm in the ballpark with my choices. Thanks.

I like to have at least two pads for each product on a small, compact vehicle and 3-4 pads for each product on larger, full size cars and pick-up trucks. I have a pad conditioning brush that is used when I wash the pads. I prefer to use a cotton terry towel for quick pad cleaning while working on the vehicle. The Ultimate Trio (UC, UP and ULW) is all that is needed to properly maintain a daily driver (DD). The addition of a DA polisher will improve the over all results.
