Ultimate Wax following road tar removal.

    Ultimate Wax following road tar removal.

    Lots of tiny specks of road tar on my white Ram. I'm going to have to use a solvent to remove them from both sides…whole side front to back. I'll use my "go to" tar removal solvent, 3M General Purpose Adhesive Remover. The finish is in great shape other than for the tar specks. After the specks are removed can I go directly to the Ultimate Wax? Any chance of it not working well after using the solvent?

    As long as the solvent is removed... or solvent then wash after.

        Yes, most waxes and sealants may not be strong enough against tar removers/solvents.
