  • opticoat question

I'm curious to know how long a tube of opti-coat lasts once you open it up. Is it the kind of thing where you open it up, use it, and toss the remains? If anything is left?
I'm under the impression that one 20cc tube does one car but maybe I'm wrong.

The reason I ask is because I have a small car that I plan on opti coating, and I'm hoping to use whatever is left on my motorcycle. My car is ready now, but I don't plan on doing my motorcycle for a few months there is quite a bit of correcting to do first. Will the remainings last that long or will I need to buy a second tube.

    TIA

    Re: opticoat question

It should stay for at least 6 months ive read. AS long as you seal it up immediately and keep it in a cool dry place. Pretty the standard operating for all of your detailing products.

Chris is right about the self life after opening and you can get 2-4 cars out of one tube of OC. If you use the neoprene applicator you can get 4 if not just look at 2 or 3.
