but i'm looking for a tire dressing that is not shinny. I like the look of a clean tire. Problem is that it doesn't last. Is there something out there that will preserve the look. I drive on dirt roads too so it can't be sticky. And if it held up to rain a bit that would be sweet. Very product i have looked at talks about its shine.

Same for an interior protectant. I want a natural look that doesn't attract dirt. I drive and work out in the country so the first time i open my door i don't want the dash to be a dust magnet.

Couple of options for you, Water Base Dressing at 4:1, Hyper Dressing at 4:1, or a cleaning with Quik Interior Detailer with no dressing. I've found hyper and water base will respond a little differently to various surfaces, you will have to try them and see what you like. As for tires, i would use some All Season, then wipe down the tire before it dries. That should give you a nice matte look without attracting too much dust. Will last longer than water base dressings too. Another thought would be to scrub the tire with super degreaser and leave it with no dressing. I have a couple of customers who i do this for.

I typically use the tire & trim gel from the detailer line. I use D143 wheel and tire cleaner to clean the tires and prep them when I reapply. I don't know how it fairs on dirt roads so I can't comment on that. It does a good job and it doesn't have that sticky feeling and it won't sling once it dries for a few minutes. One coat will give the tire a look of it being new. It's only rained once and it held up just fine. As stated up above All Season may be a better option.

As far as an interior protectant you could go with either quick interior detailer or natural shine protectant.

Im back with muguires cause I like the Edge nice and wet - for a while on my Escape I was using
Autoglym Instant Tyre Dressing (Canadian tire $13.00)if you want you can use it like a cleaner just wipe it on depending how much you leave on is how much gloss you get but you can definitely get a new tire look and it does leave protection on I used to use it couse the rims where clear coat and with this stuff you could spray the whole wheel and wipe it off could do all 4 wheels in my lunch hour.

Some of our Detailer Line products are available only through somewhat limited distribution channels. As such, to avoid stepping on those distributors toes, we don't list them on our ecommerce site, meguiarsdirect.com. They are listed on our corporate website, meguiars.com, but to purchase them you'll have to go through one of the common online resellers (detailing.com, autogeek.net, autodetailingsolutions.net, amazon.com, etc) or through a local distributor/PBE store.
