  • Ready to get started

Hello I'm new to the site. I've been reading the post, and had a question. I have a 97 dark green mercury Grand Marquise. It's mostly been parked under a 3 sided garage. The paint is in good condition for it to be 16 yrs old and only getting frequent rinsings. I want to bring the color and shine back to life, and it has minor scratches.I have a DA polisher with all the pads. What products should I use?

Ok. I'll do that tomorrow because it's raining in the DFW today.

        First off, welcome....

In addition to what Mario said, i would add that you was it thoroughly first then clay it to remove all surface contaminants first. That way when you are correcting the paint you are maximizing clearing up the paints surface...

Think of your paint as a dirty driveway with dust and a ton of fallen leaves on it. First you remove the loose dirt and leaves before you hose it down... that way you can see everything underneath.
