  • Plast-x on Interior woodgrains.

I would like to know if it may be safe to use plastx on some of my interior woodgrains.
They're old. but they're the "plastic" woodgrains. Honda Accord.

Also. Plastx. Is WONDERFUL. It cleared the inside of my retrofit, and the outside. I used Meguiars wash here, White Wax, Sprayaway glass, and Black Magic.

I know. I went and tried it. I did 3-4 passes on the cupholder, 2 on the door panel, and one on the chrome. Those were the results.

            ooooooooooo K.
You got to be clear. I can't see what your doing.

You have hard plastic, not soft paint.
Scratches are BELOW the surface. You don't actual get rid of the scratch you get rid of the material around the scratch.
You'll need to work the heck out of the plastic in order to "remove the plastic from around the scratch" you to level the surface this "gets rid of the scratch", make sense?

So a few wipes won't do anything, as you just found out.

Myself? I'd use a 3" buff pad or MF on a DA and hand polishing with an MF pad

yes, yes, yes it is but it's not paint it's plastic. So you have to be aggressive. I'm a pro and want the job done as fast and best way possible.

Just keep doing what your doing, eventually you'll see some improvement.
                Another choice is a polish
