  • Blended Clear Coat

I have a small spot repair that was done about a month ago at the base of the sail panel. The clear was blended on the sail panel as I did not want a total repaint of both rear quarters and the roof ( car is only 3 months old ). The paint work done was good quality workmanship and the average person looking at the car would never notice ( this type of repair takes a very good and knowledgeable painter to pull off ). I know the blended edge is susceptible to UV damage. What product/products can I use to protect this area from degradation from the sun? The car is parked outside at work and garaged at home. Thank you for any recommendations you may have!

M80 Speed Glaze the entire panel even if it was a spot repair, wait 30-90 days, then you can move on to wax, UQD and UQW.

What would be the best wax to use for sun protection? Ultimate synthetic wax, Gold Class, etc.???? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe Ultimate wax and then a layer of Gold Class?

              Any wax will do.
              Todays paint doesn't "UV" damage.

I was just worried because the body shop told me they do not warranty spot repairs because the blend area between the new and existing clear is more susceptible to damage from ultraviolet light. I'll just make sure I keep it covered with a good quality LSP and hope for the best!
