I normally use microfiber towels to apply products, (compound, polish, wax, etc - everything by hand) but apparently it's better to use Meg's foam or even applicator pads?

Re: Applying products
I use foam pads for application because they shouldn't mar surface and it easier to control qty of product applied thus to create a thin coat. MF soaks up and wastes a lot of product during application IMO. Even app pads are great when you want to apply using MF as they distribute the pressure better than fingers behind an MF towel.2018 Acura RLX Tech - Majestic Black Pearl

Re: Applying products
I prefer foam applicators for applying paint cleaners, polishes and waxes, for interiors (interior products such as leather cleaners, conditioner, protectants, etc.) I prefer microfiber applicators I find that microfiber applicators have more bite which allows for better cleaning and less chances for over applying product.

Re: Applying products
Foam applicator pads all the way, except for maybe when you're applying a compound/polish and you need just a little more cut...Originally posted by BluelineI own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
