removing rust stain on white paint from a bolt

    removing rust stain on white paint from a bolt

    I am replacing my bolts for my gas filler neck on a dodge ram "white paint" Around 1 or 2 of the bolts there is some rust color bleeding from the bolts,,,what is best to try to get that out?

    hey guys, i was wondering what id need to use to remove stains on my paint from some rust around my fender wells. The rust itself is very small, but when it gets wet the rust color comes off and is wrapping around my paint creating a hard stain that i cannot remove and is making the rust look worse than it really is. Not sure

      Try a little Iron-X gel by CarPro.

        I'll have to check that out,,I was going to try some rubbing No.7 rubbing compound i bought to get a rust color stain out from the inside of my door where the door skin is wrapped around the inside edge..I have a bit of brownish stuff in the seam there too.

          Hi,
          I used Meguiars Ultimate Compound to remove rust stains from the roof racks on my white Holden Rodeo ute, it works great, just apply and buff off.
