  • Need "Wetter" Tire Dressing

So, I love All-Season Dressing and use it all the cars I work on. Goes on easy, dries to a nice matte black look, and is very cost-effective for the business. I rarely have a customer mention anything about the tires, but every once in a while (like a couple times a year at most) I'll have someone just mildly say something about a shinier, wetter look (not my style, but to each his own).

Well I got a customer who wants as wet of a look as possible, and I bet ASD won't suffice, so I figured I'd see what others liked for a really wet look. I'd prefer to stick with Megs stuff, but since this would only be used a couple times a year, brand isn't a huge factor as much as just the wetness and shine. Thanks guys!

From Meguiar's I'm not sure but I know Stoner has their aerosol 'More Shine' which is pretty darn glossy to me when I tested it. Too much for my liking in most cases.

NXT insane shine aerosol is the wettest i've ever seen. However, you can get nearly as wet results with 2 coats of gold class endurance tire gel, applied 30 mins apart. Plus no overspray with the gel and no sling if applied thin and allowed to dry properly.

I use stoners from time to time. Instead of spraying it directly to the tire, spray onto a tire applicator. It allows you to evenly spread the product and control the gloss level. It also saves your wheels and paint from overspray. Stoner's is also water based.

I tried the Megs Endurance gel earlier this year. Very shiny, IMO. Had been using Hot Shine. I think the gel is shinier.
