And how far is one supposed to spread it out? Again, I apologize for the multitude of questions. My biggest fear is actually messing it up and regretting even attempting to fix the scratch in the first place.

Well, applies more for defect removal.

Say about the size of your hand or so at the smallest.

I'd skip the cleaner wax and use the UC, you'll be sure to remove it on your first try, using UC here isn't overkill IMO.
Let us know
it will clean it up quick, very few passes should be needed.

thank you for the lightening fast response. So would swirl x/scratch x/UC be overkill in this situation? No need for ultimate wax either if I go with cleaner wax correct?

But IF i do need something stronger and need to go with a polish, then its cleaner wax+ultimate polish or am I just substituting ultimate polish for white wax.

The UP is all you need to follow the UC, it cleans up nicely.

As a pro detailer I use what works, not how much it cost and this is a really good combo

Now you have me doubting whether I should have bought the UC to start with haha.

If I buy the UC, could I follow it up with the ultimate polish and stop there or will I have to use a LSP? Will my paint look dull just stopping at UP?

Work it out about four inches, after a couple of passes wipe the product off then inspect, of it looks good your done, if not make another two passes using an applicator pad.
