  • DA Microfiber Correction system on 54 Corvette??

The vette (fiberglass) has original paint, although the car only has 50000 miles on it and still is in overall good condition. I've used the MF system on a few cars now, but nothing made of fiberglass - does anything really change? Anything I need to worry about? How about the fact that the paint is 58 years old?

I can post pics if needed, thanks in advance

Well first off, WELCOME TO MOL!!!!

Your working with paint, what is under it only effects the heat level. Fiberglass will hold heat more then metal, so you'll have to watch your working time.

    What year is this Vette?
Can you please post some pics.
Most likely your working with SS paint and not CC unless it's been repaint.
I'd recommend the Solo line and not anything from this century.

From what we know, its the original paint, and if its been repainted, it sill looks like single stage - sorry, can't figure out how to attach a picture, but its white and sweet looking!
