  • Please help!

I just finished detailing my car (yesterday) using the following steps:

    1. Meguiars Quik Clay
    2. Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner
    3. Deep Crystal Polish
    4. NXT Wax

After doing this, I treated the windows with Diamondite Glass Spray Clay, Cleaner and Sealer.

Well, this morning, I noticed there was some overspray from the glass products on the car so I tried to remove it with Quick Detailer. However, the product just smeared and I was not really able to remove it.

Any suggestions on how to remove I can remove this without detailing the car with the four steps above? I have learned my lesson to do the windows before doing the rest of the car.

    Thanks.

    Hey,

Depending what is in the cleaning component of the glass cleaner, you may need to re-wax those areas affected by overspray. The wax is probably just fine, but I would rather not take a chance when re-waxing is so fast.

I suggest re-washing and drying the whole car. Then re-apply the NXT Tech Wax to those areas. Otherwise, you should be fine!

If what Tim has suggested doesn't work, then try using the Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner over any affected areas, after that you'll have to re-wax those areas.

If that doesn't work, post back here.
