White Wax marred my paint

    That's right. Heavy polishing LC pads are now pink.

    If you have a blue LC CCS pad available, give that a try. Silly question, but are your pads new?

      My pads are not new but they have been washed and are clean.

      Good news is that I applied Black Wax by hand and it didn't mar at all which leads me to believe it was the pad over the product just like Mike said.

      Thanks Mike! I'll have to try with some W9207 finishing pads and see if those work.

        I think that the speed you were using was probably your largest problem I've worked on probably 20 pilots and have never had any problems with the paint. I'd just check your speed I bet if you applied it around 3 you wouldn't have experienced the same problem

          A finishing pad Meg's or LC and speed 3 should give you desired results on that soft Honda paint.
