Exhaust Tips (Factory) on 2013 Acura TL Tech and Metal Polish

Just bought Metal Finishing Polish for wheels and after research, seems they are clear coated. So, any metal left would be exhaust tips (can't find out what they are made of...). The jar would way out last the car lease but would keep it if there was a reason...

Else, I should return the polish. Wheels and tips pics incl. Comments (besides the real obvious like check wheels before buying metal polish, etc.) and product selection advice appreciated. Thanks.

I just use Hot Rims All Wheel & Tirel cleaner on my TL
However, on the acurazine, looks like a lot of them use Bar Keeps Friend, Never Dull or Brasso

Yeah, the metal polish on the tips would be fine.

I use a combo of metal polish, 0000 wire pad and eagle 1 evershine or whatever it is called. The tips look amazing!

Don't know when but they are looking to introduce the TLX

My limited understanding is it will be called TLX, (and possibly eliminate the TSX???).

They're keeping it as secret as possible as of my research at end of March when I got the car. The TL comes out very late in the model year (the TL and the ZDX are the only 2013's left on the Acura website, everything else is model year 2014.)

Summary: It's a mystery still!

Ahh yes I have heard about a possible TLX, funny thing is that their seems to be some images of the 2014 TL on the web. I just hope if and when the TLX is introduced it keeps similar body lines as the current TL

Hey, went and got the tire and wheel haven't used it yet. It's raining every darn day lately . Here's pics of first job (paint only) couple weeks ago.

Smooth clay, #7 show car glaze/polish, #26 Hi-Tech Yellow Wax. (ordered some NXT 2.0, gonna try layer the 26 on top of NXT).
