  • Which product to use to remove auto car wash swirls..

Cleaning up a 2006 350z that belongs to the parents. Its got a bunch of swirls scratches from auto car washes and a couple deeper scratches on the back from luggage dragging across the rear bumper cover.

I'm at work, sorry I dont have any pics at the moment but I know I'm suppose to go from least aggressive to most. Least is Swirl X right? What comes after that because I don't think thats going to do it.

    thanks

I read it. Guess I can start with scratch x and go from there.

It is cheaper and only a bit stronger than ScratchX 2.0.

The thing with these products is that you can use the smooth foam applicator, and apply gently to make it milder, then use more passion if needed to make it stronger.

WAIT I'm getting scratch x and swirl x mixed up. Which can I use on the whole car? Scratch x bottle indicated it was only to be used on spots.

You can use any of them on the whole car if needed.

ScratchX is just more expensive because it is sold in a smaller tube for doing smaller areas. SwirlX and Ult. Compound are sold in larger amounts, so work out cheaper.

Make sure to do a test spot and keep working until you get the results you are after. Start less aggressive and work your way up.
