  • Small Patch Of Oxidation on "New" M3

So i just bought a 2003 M3 and it has a little patch of oxidation on the drivers side door where the door meets the window...i bought some of the Meguiar's Rubbing Compound because it said it fixes oxidation. Is this what i should be using to try to clear this little patch of oxidation up?

Any tips? Or is this more than likely going to have to be fixed at the body shop somehow?

    thanks

Sorry but that looks like clearcoat failure.

      yeah, had a feeling...

so realistically, what would it take to fix it? could a body shop just sand and respray that area of clear coat or is it more likely the whole door needs to be repainted or what?

More than likely a respray would be the best option to get that fixed.
