  • Rain after waxing

    Guys,
I'm new to this forum and have a question. I spent most of the day today detailing my Chevy Avalanche.
    Ult wash
    Clay
    White Wax
    Ult liquid wax

After I finished waxing my truck about 2 hours later is began raining pretty hard. That truck isn't small, did I just waste my time today? I heard that wax take 12 to 24 hours to cure. if I plan better, how soon after waxing should it rain?

    Re: Rain after waxing

Well, unless you see the wax in a puddle on the driveway, then it is still on your car....

Maybe a couple percent less looks or durability.... but nothing really noticeable.

If it will give you peace of mind, just reapply a coat of ULW or if you have the UQW, just spray the car with UQW. No real cause for concern, your car should be OK
