CF bonnet - oxidation or clear-coat failure

Hello,


I have a Legnum VR4 with a CF bonnet. It has started to show white spots and chalky coloured edges.
On reading other treads on the forum I tried Ultimate Compound- this worked great at getting the marks off, but by the next day the marks were back.


What my query is? Should I continue to use the compound and polish/wax to return it to its shining glory or is it a clear coat failure and I need to have it clear coated again ??


Ill try to upload some pictures - to show the marks.

Sound exactly like CC failure.
