  • Detailing around the valve stem

I have some aluminum whhels. Polishing the wheel is not too hard, but when you finish the wheel, you'll nitice a little bit of dirty polish in the niche around the valve stem where you can't get to it with a towel. It's also too tight for a brush or even a chisel-point popsicle stick to get in there to get the polish out.

Has anyone got a technique that works?

Try a Q-Tip. If (even) that is too big, maybe hitting it with spritz of APC and strong blast of water.
