  • My Perfect Tire Cleaner

Whenever someone says perfect anything, I cringe. There is no such thing as a perfect detailing product.

However, this video shows a tire cleaner that is perfect for me. It is both cheap and very very effective.

Video and details in link, hope you enjoy!

Nice review Roshan! I've enjoyed all your videos.
I've been using APC for years, diluted 1:10 for interiors and 1:4 for HD use. I wasn't satisfied with it's effectiveness on tires, especially when they were dressed with something durable, such as UTTG or PERL, but I had never tried it straight.
Time to get a foaming sprayer and give it another chance.
    Thanks again!

I may be wrong on this but I think the problem with tires is the dressing. Some dressing does exactly what they say they will do and gets pretty hard to clean. I've moved to Hyper Dressing for my tires and although it does not last as long but they are extremely easy to clean.

Nice video Roshan! Thanks for doing that.

I also use D101 exclusively for tires because of the foaming action. I have my D103 for my interior and carpet cleaning.

I use it at the 4:1 ratio and it already works extremely well for tires. I can just imagine how nice it is at full strength. I have to try that. I also want to try using the 4:1 ratio with a foaming sprayer and see how it works out.

If anyone wants something more powerful that D101 APC to clean tires and remove old tire dressing, I would highly suggest using Meguiar's Super Degreaser (D108).

Great tips, soo obvious to use at full strength that I never thought to do this...I may try D108 at 2:1 and D101 at 1:1 on my tires....then go back to 10:1 or 4:1 once my tires, in especially my wife's van are "brown free"

Hey Marc, thanks for watching! I think the foaming sprayer makes it uh-mazing! Honestly, I can't see needing more than D101 straight to clean tires. I cleaned some incredibly dirty tires with it in the past.

Where did you get the foaming sprayer from? Does it come with the Adams APC bottle?

Adam's and I believe so. Or you can buy a few bottles of it and the sprayers by themselves. It is expensive either way but in my opinion, well worth it!

You can buy the foaming sprayers from ADS, $2.49 each, 6/$12.00, 12/$21.60, 24/$38.40

If that's too costly i know some of the bathroom spray cleaners come with foaming triggers...can't remember which brand tho...

I've tried a lot of different foaming nozzles, but I think the Adam's ones are the best.
