  • #00 vs. #62

I've been using #00 Hi-Tech Wash with good results. I like how gentle it is. I'm able to go 3 or 4 months between waxing with #26, which is not an especially durable wax.

But I've seen a number of people here that prefer #62 over #00, and I'm considering giving it a try. The potential down-side I see is that the wax may not last as long if #62 is not as gentle.

Am I likely to see a huge difference in wax durability?

I need a silicone-free shampoo, so most other products are unsuitable.

From my experience, M62 and M00 are both equally gentle.

Three or four months is actually very durable for a carnauba wax. After that amount of time, it is generally good practice to remove any built-up contamination from the finish.
