  • Any replacement for old MPPC

I worked on a black Acura MDX this weekend. It was probably 7-8 years old and has never been detailed. It was seriously neglected on the outside. I washed it, then clayed it and clayed it and clayed it. Still lots of crud on the paint. So I got out an old bottle of Meguiars Premium Paint Cleaner (MPPC) and went over the vehicle with a polishing pad and that did a great job of cleaning the paint and bringing back some shine. Followed it up with the microfiber system for a final great looking finish.

So my questions is.....since MPPC is no longer avialable....is there something new to replace it as a paint cleaner?

Hmm, nothing exact really... Probably UC/#105 is about the closest in at least having a chance to remove crud... Or using something like the MF pads with another product to give a chance.
