I am wondering is it alright to spray some QD/FI while I'm dying up the car (the car is still wet)?

Detailing spray while drying car

Absolutely! As a matter of fact, I highly recommend it!
Here's what I like to do........
Get two WW towels.
Bottle of QD or 50/50 mix of QD and Spray and Wipe.
Then, I flood rinse my vehicle after washing and normal rinse. This minimizes the standing water.
Next, I mist on a light amount of the QD and with one towel, I every so lightly spread the QD and any remaining water over a small area. It actually will look a little streaky. Then, I take the other WW towel and go over the area lightly and very SLOWLY to allow the towel time to absorb the water and QD.
Here's why I like it......
1. The QD or mix will add a tiny amount of light cleaning.
2. The QD or mix will add some lubrication to the drying process. That helps reduce marring.
3. The QD or mix should add a little gloss to the drying process.
That's a Win, Win, Win situation if you ask me!Boss_429

WW = Waffle Weave
It's a square pattern found on the new Water Magnet drying towel and other similar towels. I recently purchased the Water Magnet but have only had one chance to use it so far. Most reviews love the WW design, I have yet to truly discover the benefit of this type of towel.1999 Ford Contour SVT
