  • Best AIO products

I would like some suggestions for AIO products.
Qualities that I would be most interested in are:
    -minimizing swirls
    -high gloss
    -semi-long protection

The reason I am asking is because I have a small town detailing business, and would like to know a quick but effective way to provide a good quality detail to customers on a budget.

In the past the steps I have used for a quicker process is wash, clay, m21 synthetic sealant, spray wax..

I prefer the mirror glaze proffesional line but am open to suggestions. Just wondering if there is a better option than what I'm currently doing, although I am very happy with the results

    TIA

I read that some members here apply UQW after wax but I never understand why. I for one do not want to disturb a fresh layer of wax for letting it set for the next few hours.
I use UQW only after a wash as a booster wax, to add the shine to a previous wax.

If you are on a budget, maybe you can skip the UQW step.

To be honest I have felt the same way. I have heard on several occasions that spray wax is an important last step, although I have also heard otherwise. That step is something I only do about 50% of the time, and am yet to decifer it's importance.

Imo I would go with Megs new White Wax. It got out small areas of oxidation and most swirls on my car when applied vigorously by hand. It has cleaning, polishing, wax properties. When you view the product breakdown elsewhere on the Megs online it looks like a great all in one to me.

The only draw back would be the inability to purchase it in bulk.

White wax is an option that I have been thinking about.. As well as the black wax for darker colored vehicles.

I already purchased the black wax to try, but I prefer to use the professional line for the reason that you brought up .. Buying in bulk. Although if it works as good as everyone says I might have to stick with it.

I haven't heard much for comparison between BW or WW and m21 that I am currently using other than the cleaning abilities by BW and WW which m21 doesn't have

            Re: Best AIO products

#21 is nice, but has no cleaning ability. So not really related to the WW, BW, ColorX, etc.

#66 is probably more of what you want.

Then topping it after with something else if desired.

How about M66 Quick Detailer? I really like it. Has chemical cleaners and some correction ability while leaving wax protection. Great one step product IMO. I prefer this over the D151 Paint Reconditioning Creme for budget details.

                  Re: Best AIO products

There really is no reason to use a spray wax immediately following the application of a liquid or paste wax, but after subsequent washings it's a great idea.

As for a good all in one, assuming you're using a buffer of some sort, M66 Quick Detailer is a great heavy duty cleaner wax, as is D151 Paint Reconditioning Creme. When applied with a buffer - and D151 can be applied with a wide variety of pads and tools, from wool on a rotary to foam finishing on a DA - both can do an admirable job of light swirl removal. Neither one is going to last as long as M21 however.

M66 seams to be a product that interests me. Is it generally best used with rotary or DA. I would be using either the makita 9227c or meguiars g110v2, both with meguiars pads.

M66 works with either rotary, or DA. Good stuff, really like the look it gives.

My quick details are what I "Cal N Spray"
Clay and D156. Works great for the cheeper details.
But my goto if I'm using a mechein is 66.
