M105 by hand?

  • M105 by hand?

    Can this stuff be used by hand or do I Need some type of machinery? And what is recommended for a polish after? I'm buffing 1200-3000 grit sandpaper scratches

    If you work on a fresh paint (not original factory paint) then M105 by hand should do some cut. I don't think it will be effective on 1200 grit but definitely 2500-3000 should be within its range. However the best way to successfully remove those sanding marks would be by machine polishing and try to finish with the finest grit possible (2500-3000). M205 Ultra Finishing Polish was formulated as a follow-up polish after M105 Ultra Cut Compound.
