    After aplying Ult Polish then Ult wax I am seing differnet shades of Black in my paint. The color or shine is not even Is this normal? I have a Black 2013 Fiat Thanks

    The simplest answer would be that some polish or wax was not completely removed, so there is still some excess there.

    Wiping over it with some QD can help.

    Although the Ult. Wax seems to even out on its own after a short time as well.

      Maybe some striking because hand application, i guess what you are seeing is the pressure of your fingers, i bet they are.

        You may need a second coat of Ultimate wax to get even coverage. try an area that is showing uneveness and see if it works.

          yes this is normal. did you check it 24 hrs later? it should have disapated. If not then re-apply and check 24 hrs later.

            Totally agree! It just takes a bit of time to do its' chemical reaction (cross-linking)...Bill

              Thanks guys. I assume it is prob due to the fact I hand wax and is prob uneven coverage. I went over the whole car with QD this morning. I am going to start using the DA, so hopefully that will resolve it a well

                If you are sort of starting out, you can clay as well. Making sure the surface is clean as possible helps things apply better.

                  I get this with a DA too.
                  It's the cross link polymers not linked yet. How did it look 24 hrs later?
