The first time I polished I didn't tape off the car as it was my first time.. so there is white bits on the trim here and there. will it come off in the next wash?

Wrap a microfiber around your finger and dip in the peanut butter, rub it on the trim.
(who in the world figured this out the first time?)

a hard brush and some trim dressing should work if that doesn't then try some APC and then dress the trim. I do this all the time, cleaning up after hack detailers, and I'm not calling you a hack, we all have done this. I just come across it alot.
And now you've learned why we tape off.

I'll be honest myself, I've NEVER taped off anything EVER, lol. I always go back into the nook and crannies anyway and follow all body lines, etc. to make sure everything is good. I'll try the tape method tomorrow on my first detail job of the year.
