  • Clay and Wash question?

Is it ok to wash my car, rinse, and then soap it up again to clay, using the soap as a lube, and finally wash and rinse the car again?

I usualy wash my car, dry it, move it into the garage, get out the clay bar and the clay lube, clay the whole car, bring it back outside, wash it again to get any last residue off and make sure it is spotless, and then procede to do whatever else is necessary. As you can see, my usual way takes a bit of time, so I was thinking maybe the new way might save me some time, but is it safe to do it that way?

    Thanks!

    Clay and wash

After I wash, I rinse the car. Then before drying, use the clay bar on the horizontal surfaces. Then I wash and rinse again and then dry. Works well for me.
