  • Drying my car

    hi all

my car is parked in the open most of the time . every time it rains, i would use a microfibrper cloth to gently wipe it dry.

would it scratch my car or cause swrils? is there a better way to remove water from my car . or is it alright:if i use qd or uqd when surface is still wet?

another question... whitewax or blackwax... which one is more suitable for a bright red car?

    Re: Drying my car

wash your car don't wipe it off after it rains.
Your car is dirty and the dirt is what is going to scratch it.
Carry some Waterless wash with you and you can wash your car anywhere, anytime.
I would go with something else then white/black wax. 20 is my goto but Ultimate Liquid Wax will work great.

Have you seen the new commercial for an air-blower drying system? It's like a shop vac with the hose on the blow port. I assume it uses low-pressure air, or it would scratch.

      Wash Me-
I agree on washing the car after a rain, especially if it's under a tree But I see people swiping or toweling the rain off at shows. Is that what you mean? Even the Corvette guys do it with their silicone swipe thingies.
