    Autoglym SRP, Meguiars Cleaner Wax + Gold Class Carnauba Wax

    Last week

    1. Wash
    2. Clay
    3. UC
    4. UP
    5. NXT Wax

    Most scratches were removed, swirls were all gone and close to 90% of water spots removed.
    I didnt want to remove too much of the top coat and pretty satisfied with the outcome.

    I finished my NXT wax and bought GC Carnauba Wax. Thought for a long time between GCCW and Ultimate Wax. In Singapore it cost $32 for GCCW and $59 for Ultimate Wax. Since I have been using synthetic wax for a long time, I opted for GCCW this time.

    I still have Autoglym SRP and only a little Cleaner Wax. Since SRP and Cleaner Wax is very easy to apply and buff off, I was thinking of using SRP as a cleaner and finish it with GCCW.

    By using SRP as a cleaner, will the surface be too oily for GCCW to be applied on and last long?
    Same for Cleaner Wax. Once i use up SRP, I will change to Cleaner Wax. Do you think this combination works well?

    1. Wax
    2. Clay (if necessary)
    3. SRP or Cleaner Wax
    4. GCCW

    I just afraid that GCCW do not bond well with SRP or Cleaner Wax.

    It wouldn't hurt to spell out the product name the first it's mentioned instead of SRP. I've no idea what it is.Gold class goes on well after cleaner wax , no problem .

      I believe it is super resin polish. Good stuff by the way.

        You definitely won't have a problem with Cleaner Wax followed by GCCW, as they are both Megs products.

        SRP followed by GCCW - I don't know for sure and I doubt anyone here could give you a definite answer because they are from different manufacturers. My feeling is that it'll be fine though.

        Why don't you try it and find out? Certainly won't hurt anything...

          I like using SRP by itself. You should be fine, SRP is not really oily product.
