  • Clear Coat Body Scrub??

I just got a car that has some minor swirl marks that I would like to remove when detailing the car. I have some clear coat body scrub already, but don't know if this is the right product. What I had planned to do is as follows:

    Wash
    Clay
Body Scrub (on scratched areas only)
    Wash
    Wax

Does this make sense? Do I need to wash the car before the wax or just rinse? Do I need to dry the car before the clay, or can I use the clay with the car wet?

    Thanks

Well, the Body Scrub if really a chemical paint cleaner. It might remove some really minor swirls if the are superficial. However, you might need to move up to a product like #9, or #80 to really start getting rid of them.

That said, Body Scrub is an excellent product to clean the paint with at least once or twice a year. You should use it on the entire vehicle.
